Hoyer has failed to land an ACE for several years. Stroman is nice but he’s a #3 or #4 starter. Cubs have a lot of those types. Carlos Rondon was there for the taking. So if the Dodgers DFA Bauer, Hoyer better call his agent. Bauer would make the Cub rotation so much stronger.
